Did you know the most important decisions in the world have been made over a cup of coffee? That coffee is the most traded commodity in the world, over oil? Coffee is politics, economics, culture, and life, in your cup.
Each sip is a destination. Savor it!

Here it is folks, by popular demand. I've said for a while now that I won't carry Kona: it's generally overpriced mediocrity. Much better coffees can be had from other regions for a fraction the price. But, after much pestering from customers who enjoy the Kona, I decided to snoop around and see what I could find. Many samples and cups of mediocrity later (and a caffeine headache or two), I came upon the gorgeous coffee you'll find here. This coffee is good by ANY standard, and far surpasses any Kona I've ever tried. |

| In the 1300's, coffee immigrated from Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, to Yemen. It was tightly guarded by the Arabs for many years, until a Dutch trader's wife used her wiles to obtain a coffee plant, and it made its way to the Netherlands, and from there to the rest of the world. |

This may be the best coffee I have, it's just perfect. It's evenly balanced between hearty and delicate; sweet, but with a medium splash of citrus acidity and French vanilla, it encompasses the full spectrum of flavors, tickles the full range of taste buds. It is the Pavarotti of coffees. |

| The Reserva del Patron was the first full bag of coffee I ever bought when I started roasting. Tim Castle, former President of the Special Coffee Association of America, recommended it. It blew me away, love at first taste. I bought that bag, and now it's back. Some coffees are prized for their blueberry, starfruit, or marzipan flavors. Not this coffee; it is simple, pure, and rich. Mouthfeel is thick and buttery, with hints of browned butter and turbinado sugar, and nothing distracts. Look in the dictionary under coffee, you'll find the Reserva. Simply awesome, and it makes a fine shot of Single Origin espresso (I have several customers that prefer it over all else for espresso!). |

This is our first certified Organic, Fair Trade coffee. Typically, I find these coffees to be somewhat inferior to their non-organic counterparts; this coffee is one hell of an exception! |

| Ahh, decaf; it looks like coffee, smells like coffee, and tried so hard to BE good coffee, but alas, it usually falls short of the mark. Not so with our delicious Decaf Espresso Torro. Crema? Thick and oozing. Body? Syrupy. Sweet? Check. Acidity? C'mon now, you know it! |
